Fabric First: Washed Slub Jersey

Ever wondered what differentiates our Washed Slub Jersey from the rest of our cotton fabrications? Slubs are lumps, created by uneven thickness of yarn, giving an unexpected, irregular texture to the fabric. In order to achieve this, first, we pigment garment-dye the cotton to create unique textures and variations within the fabric. Each garment is, then, re-washed as a whole using special enzymes for added softness. The imperfections give the fabric an organic, unique look and feel without compromising on comfort.

Here’s a little something extra to give your basics some visual interest.
